I have been certified (Part 107) by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Pilot and am authorized to fly drones commercially.  I enjoy flying my drone and have had the opportunity to capture beautiful perspectives that we, as humans, rarely get to see.  Keep in mind that drones are not just for taking pictures and videos high up in the air.  Drones equipped with high end cameras and gimblas are excellent for capturing any event at any height.  Since these cameras fly, they are their own moving tripods.  Long (and smooth) moving video shots can be captured with a drone rather than requiring machines such as cranes, pulleys, and rolling camera setups.  You may be surprised how many TV shows, Hollywood movies, and commercials are now incorporating drones into their productions.
